This is big country from Midas on Knox Abbott me and Dave I knew him for a year and I'll tell you what he was a very dear friend of mine I found out today which is Monday that he had passed I couldn't believe what I had read but may he rest in peace and he will be missed Kevin Murray

David and I worked together for close to 20 years. We talked often about retiring in 6 years. He was a good AMIGO! We called each other "Papa" on the Walkie talkie everyday. I will remember his voice saying "Tres Más Papa! I will miss Dave. Vaya con Dios, Dave mi amigo!

My deepest condolences to Big Dave's family and friends. I have so many good memories of him. Mostly remember the laughter and parties. He's the reason I even held a snake because it was his ball python . He was a great friend. He was so happy to have met again, and be able to love and be loved by his wife Julie. He was one of a kind in the best way.
My mom was a neighbor of Dave and Julie's before she passed. He was so good to her. I will never forget his kindness.
