Mr. Alfred Franklin Rickman Jr., 73 years of age, died Monday July 2, 2007. Mr. Rickman was born in Colleton Co. a son of the late Alfred F. Rickman Sr., and Theresa Jones Michalek. He was a disabled marine veteran of the Korean War, and was a lifelong resident of the community.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday July 6, 2007 at 3:00 P.M. at The Ott Funeral Home in Branchville. Burial will be in the Tabernacle Cemetery near Smoaks.
Survived by one son, Mr. Milton Rickman of Cottageville, two daughters, Mrs. Lisa Stroupe of Yemassee, and Mrs. Jan R. Catterton of Walterboro, one brother, two sisters, eight grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Thursday July 5, 2007 from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Ott Funeral Home.
