Branchville
Mrs. Alma L. Rentz, 95 years of age, died Saturday, August 3, 2013. Mrs. Rentz was born in Orangeburg Co., a daughter of the late Phillistine and Rosa Lee Douglas Heaitley. Mrs. Rentz was a member of Branchville Christian Church; she loved working with her flowers, fishing, and quilting.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, August, 5, 2013, at 1:00 P.M., at Ott Funeral Home in Branchville, with Rev. Wayne Manning officiating; burial will be in Ott Cemetery in Branchville.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Heber C. Rentz of Branchville, one daughter, Rose Marie Norton (Vernon) of Branchville, one sister, Rosa Shealey of Lexington, 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by one son, Edgar F. Brown Jr., 2 brothers, and 3 sisters.
Family will receive friends Sunday from 5 to 7 P.M., at Ott Funeral Home, and, at other times, friends may call at the residence. Memorials may be made to the charity of one choice.
