Bessie Pace Hardwick's Obituary
Branchville
Mrs. Bessie P. Hardwick, 89 years of age, died Tuesday, June 27, 2017. Bessie was born in Branchville, a daughter of the late Lee Pace and Elizabeth S Pace. She was a member of Branchville Methodist Church; she loved being a beautician, arranging flowers, and spending time with her family. She is the widow of the late Raymond J. Hardwick.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, June 30, 2017 at 11:00 A.M., from the chapel of Ott Funeral Home in Branchville, with Rev. Bert Fersner, and Rev. Wayne Mobley officiating. Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery in Branchville. Pallbearers will be Jessie Zimbro, Benji Pace, Ryan Hardwick, Chad Hardwick, Ryan Pace, Sammie Ruple, Joshua Ecklar, and Cody Zimbro. Honorary pallbearers are Jackson Kodes, Andrew Fersner, Daniel Fersner, Paul Fersner, Warren Pace, and Owen Hardwick.
She is survived by one son, Ray Hardwick (Nancy) of Charleston, two daughters, Libby Ruple (Sammie) of Branchville, and Virginia Yongue (Wayne) of Gaston. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews, and two special friends, Bobbie Sue McAlhany, and Lorraine Ott.
Family will receive friends Thursday, from 6 to 8 P.M., at Ott Funeral Home in Branchville. Memorials may be made to the Sardis Cemetery Fund, c/o Tom Jennings, 731 North Street, Branchville, SC 29432.
