Billie Kay Metts' Obituary
Branchville
Mrs. Billie Kay Easterlin Metts, 69 years of age, died Tuesday, February 15, 2011. Mrs. Metts was born in Branchville, a daughter of the late David W. Easterlin, and Mopsie W. Easterlin. Mrs. Metts was a registered nurse, an avid gardener, a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church and its Adult Sunday School Class; she was a lifelong resident of the community. Mrs. Metts also had a great love for life, family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, February 17, 2011, at 3:00 P.M., at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, with Rev. Brian Gray and Rev. Bobby Etheridge officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are Randy Antley, Tara Billings, Ray Bunton, Wes Collins, Bobby Crates, and Craig Porter
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Mr. Alton O. Metts of Branchville, two sons, William A. Metts and wife Reggie of Branchville and David M. Metts of Columbia, three grandchildren, Brandy McRae, Molly Metts, and Bill Metts, two sisters, Rose Marie Bunton and Helen Wiles, all of Branchville, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 5 to 7 P.M. at Ott Funeral Home in Branchville; at other times, friends may call at the residence of William Metts, 556 Hunting Rd. Online condolences can be sent to www.ottfh.com
