Billy B Owens' Obituary
Branchville
Mr. Billy B. Owens, 77 years of age, died Friday, October 14, 2011. Mr. Owens was born in Charleston, a son of the late Bishop W. Owens Sr. and Viola Grooms Owens. Mr. Owens was a retired iron worker; he loved to write and sing music, spend time with his family; he was the widower of the late Jackuline Owens.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, October 17, 2011, at 4:00 P.M., at Ott Funeral Home in Branchville. The family will receive friends one hour before services.
He is survived by three daughters, Donna O. Fralix and husband Roc of Branchville, Sherrie Bradley and husband Dana of Johnston, and Jacqueline O. Steinbacher and husband Chris of Germany, two sons, Billy B. Owens Jr. and Jerome Groffen Owens, both of Branchville, three sisters, Margaret Crosby, and Barbara Gray, both of James Island, and Pat Gutting of Summerville. He also leaves 15 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
