Mr. Brian Morgan Yates, 22 years of age, died January 29, 2009 at his residence. A Memorial service will be conducted Saturday January 31, 2009 at 5:00 P.M. from the chapel of The Ott Funeral Home in Branchville.
A peaceful Stroll
And here I walk along the sand; the water breaking slowly on land; the sun glowing brightly in the sky. A small bird catches this eye.
It flaps its wings twice, then thrice, cutting through the wind with a slice. This bird is free, no cares at all; and then this bird begins to fall.
It spirals toward the ground quite fast; I rush to catch it, in chance of last. Crashing in my hand, it lays silent; coincidence, or could this be sent?
The sun is hidden behind a cloud, and silence fell, when once was a loud. This bird grasped softly in my palm; begins to panic, and it I must calm.
It settles itself quietly quivering; extended arms, I release it shivering. The moon is high and I standing in wait, wondering what's decided of me by fate?
