Carolyn Dantzler Campbell's Obituary
Branchville
Mrs. Carolyn Dantzler Campbell, 72 years of age, died Wednesday, November 24, 2010, after a brief illness. Mrs. Campbell was born in Pamplico, a daughter of the late Dossie R. Gaskins Sr. and Lillian Ruth Gaskins. She was a member of the Branchville United Methodist Church, a retired L.P.N, who worked in several area nursing homes. Mrs. Campbell was also the widow of the late Ted Dantzler, and enjoyed taking care of anyone, in need, in her community.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 27, 2010, at 12:00 P.M., at Branchville United Methodist Church, with Rev. Grady Corder officiating; burial will be in Ott Cemetery in Branchville. The casket will be placed in the church one hour before services.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Dantzler (Sonya) of Santee and Terrell Lynn Dantzler of Charleston, two daughters, Leslie Hickman (Eric) of Swansea, and Lillian Edwards (Doug) of Little River, three brothers, Russell Gaskins, David Gaskins (Gayle), and Johnny Gaskins (Pam), two sisters, Olivia Hughes, and Melissa Jones, eight grandchildren, a very special friend, Bobbie Sue McAlhany, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday, from 6 to 8 P.M., at Ott Funeral Home, in Branchville. Friends may also call at the residence of Olivia Hughes, 767 Ott Street, Branchville. Memorials may be made to Branchville United Methodist Church, 420 Barton St., Branchville, SC, 29432.
