Cecil Rodgers Byrd's Obituary
Branchville-Swansea Mr. Cecil Rodgers Byrd, 75 years of age, died Monday April 27, 2009. Mr. Byrd was born in Branchville, a son of the late Cecil W. Byrd, and Lottie Ashe Byrd. He was a retired farmer, loved welding, and was a lifelong resident of the community. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday April 29, 2009 at 3:00 P.M. at Ott Funeral Home in Branchville. Survived by his wife of 26 years Mildred J. Byrd, one daughter Diane Byrd of Orangeburg, five step-children, eight grandchildren, and a number of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 P.M. at Ott Funeral Home in Branchville, and at other times, friends may call at the residence, 236 Camp Edisto Rd. Branchville. Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
