Charles "Shorty" Leroy Murray's Obituary
Charles "Shorty" Leroy Murray, 61, of Branchville, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 24, 2025 after a long battle with diabetes.
He was born in Bamberg, SC on November 17, 1963, the son of the late Leroy Murray, Jr. and Jeanie Kay Hudson. He was a 1982 graduate of Branchville High School.
Shorty enjoyed going to the beach. He loved his family and the Carolina Gamecocks.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his Stepfather, Charlie Hudson from Branchville, one brother, Randall Scott Murray of Branchville, one sister, Tricia Murray Knight (Ernie) of St. George, one nephew, Christopher Marshall Shuman of Branchville and two childhood friends, Karen Valentine Shieder and Cindy Valentine Strock.
Family will receive friends at Ott Funeral Home on Friday evening January 31st from 5:30-7:30 PM
