Dave Irick's Obituary
Dave Irick of Orangeburg passed away at his home after a sudden illness on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at the age of 59.
Dave was born on June 1, 1966 to the late Jerry Irick and Trudy Collins. He worked at American Tire Distributor in Columbia for 27 years. He was an active member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church of Bowman; He loved music, Dukes BBQ, his family, singing in the choir, and was musically talented on guitar and other instruments. He was blessed as in his later life he found the love of good woman, which contributed to his rededication of his life to God and used this love to serve his church for the remainder of his days. He had a wonderful sense of humor and had many friends in the workplace, and community.
He is survived by his wife of 5 years, Julie, Two brothers, Jeff Irick (Laura) currently in the military, stationed in Hawaii, Cody Irick (Mindy) of Greenville, his Mother Trudy, dad, Norbert Collins of Branchville, nephews Zackary and Justin Irick of Greenville, Elias Irick of Georgia, and niece, Sarah Staly of NC.
Funeral services will be held at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, 1425 Mt. Tabor Rd., Bowman officiated by Pastor Jay Johnson on Friday August 22 at 1:00 PM, visitation will be one hour before the services in the Church sanctuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Tabor Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Church cemetery.
