David A Gaskins' Obituary
David A. Gaskin, beloved husband, father and granddad went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday evening, November 11th,2025. He was the husband of Gail Myers Gaskins for 58 wonderful years.
David was born in Florence SC on December 7th,1946, he was the son of Dossie Russell Gaskins and Lillian Parrott Gaskins. He graduated from Branchville High School.He was a member of Prospect Southern Methodist Church where he held many positions over the years. A member of T&M Hunting Club and a trustee at Cattle Creek Campground, You could always find "Super D" in the woods on Saturdays during deer season and hunting turkeys during turkey season.
He is survived by his wife Gail Gaskins,his daughters Gwen (Kannie) Harbeson and Stella(Ben) Colson. His grandchildren, Lonna ( Jonathan) Hill, Gayla (Cody) Infinger, Kyle (Kayla) Colson, Heather (Brock) Stevens and Owen Harbeson.Great grandchildren Jake & Rylan Infinger, Sutton & Weslyn Hill, Kylee & Rhett Colson and KJ Stevens. His sister, Olivia Hughes. David was preceded in death by his parents, brothers( Russell & Johnnie), sisters (Carolyn, Melissa & Mary)
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects before the funeral on Friday, November 14th,2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Prospect Southern Methodist Church, Branchville SC. The funeral service will be held at Prospect Southern Methodist Church on Friday, November 14th, 2025 at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Prospect Southern Methodist Church or Wounded Warrior Project.
