Dorothy I Connelly's Obituary
Reevesville
Ms. Dorothy I. Connelly, 84 years of age, died Wednesday, August 22, 2012. Ms. Connelly was born in Reevesville, a daughter of the late John Wesley Connelly and Maggie Myers Connelly. Ms. Connelly was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church and a lifelong resident of the community.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, August 24, 2012, at 11:00 A.M., at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, with Rev. Brian Gray and Rev. Bobby Etheridge officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The casket will be placed in the church at 10:00 A.M.
She is survived by one brother, Lloyd Connelly of Reevesville, two nieces, Rachel Barnhill (Joe) and Kathy Gunter (Andy), three nephews, Larry Weathers (Sylvia), Ronnie Weathers (Margaret), and Danny Weathers (Irene), nine great nieces and nephews, and 15 great - great nieces and nephews. Ms. Connelly is preceded in death by two sisters, Rae Weathers and Carrie Mae Connelly.
The family will receive friends, following the services, at the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Memorials can be made to the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church Cemetery fund, c/o Vivian Kizer, 1116 Flat Woods Rd., Reevesville, SC, 29471.
