Mrs. Dorothy W Stearns, 66 years of age, died Monday, November 23, 2015. Mrs. Stearns was born in Orangeburg, a daughter of the late Evelyn W. Williamson. She loved fishing, baseball, and spending time with her family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, November 27, 2015, at 11:00 A.M., at Ott Funeral Home in Branchville, with Rev. Billy Williams officiating; burial will be in Ott Cemetery in Branchville. The family will receive friends one hour before services; at other times, friends may call at the home of Jeff and Tammy Valentine.
She is survived by four daughters, Theresa Smoak of Branchville, Rose Freeman (Doug) of Camden, and Tammy Valentine (Jeff) of Branchville, Michaela Stearns of Branchville, two sisters, Marilyn Bunch (Michael) of Hopkins, and Patricia W. Avin (Michael Smith) of Orangeburg, six grandchildren, Candice and Christopher of Camden, Jeffery, Gregory, and Joshua of Branchville, three great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
