Dr. Pierre Wait's Obituary

Dr. Pierre Wait, 82 years of age, died Monday June 29, 2015. Dr. Wait was born in Paris France. He came to America one day before is 18th birthday. He attended Clemson University, and graduated from the University of Georgia School of Veterinary Medicine. In 1962 he opened the Denmark Animal Hospital, where he had a great love of animals. Dr. Wait enjoyed fishing, sailing, traveling, cooking and spending time with his friends, he also served two years in the U.S. Army.
A memorial service will be conducted 2:00 P.M., Friday July 3, 2015, at the Christ Episcopal Church in Denmark.
He is survived by his fiancée, Beth Greene of Bamberg, two sons, Gregory Wait, and Michael Wait, and he was a beloved member of the Greene family.
Memorials may be made to the Christ Episcopal Church in Denmark, or the Animal Shelter of one's choice.
