Florrie S. Canaday, 92 years of age, died Tuesday February 21, 2017. Mrs. Florrie was born in Rowesville, a daughter of the late David and Hattie Summers. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to her family and others. She loved working tirelessly in her yard and flowers. She was a member of Cattle Creek United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held Friday 2:00 PM, February 24, 2017, at Cattle Creek United Methodist Church, with Rev. Douglas Marchant officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at Ott Funeral Home on Thursday, February 23, from 6:00-8:00 PM; at other times, at the residence of Michael and Freddie Infinger. Pallbearers will be Mark Hood, Joseph Martin, Joshua Crawford, Justin Wiles, Chris Wiles, and Cameron McAlhany.
She is survived by her son, Albert Canaday (Lyn Gaynor), daughters, Mrs. Nathan Hood (Joanne), Mrs. Carl Campbell (Sonja), Mrs. Michael Infinger (Freddie), and Mrs. Will Wiles (Deborah Jean). She had 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
She is predeceased by a grandson, Joey Martin, and all of her brothers and sisters. The family suggests that memorials be made to Cattle Creek Cemetery fund.
