Branchville
Mr. Freddie N. McCormick, 76 years of age, died Thursday, January 13, 2011. Mr. McCormick was born in Bamberg Co., a son of the late Rhoad McCormick and Sabra C. McCormick. He was retired from Greenwood Mills; he the widower of the late Juanita McCormick.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, January 16, 2011, at 3:00 P.M., at the chapel of Ott Funeral Home in Branchville, with Rev. Jakie Walters officiating. Burial will be in Edisto Baptist Church Cemetery.
He is survived by one daughter, Sandy McCormick of West Virginia, two brothers, Johnny McCormick of St. Matthews, and Billy McCormick of Branchville, two grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Saturday, from 6 to 8 P.M., at Ott Funeral Home in Branchville, 7305 Freedom Rd., 803-274-8889, and at other times, at the residence of Mr. Billy McCormick, 265 Briar Creek Rd.,Branchville.
