Frederick Edward Pennington's Obituary
Mr. Frederick E. Pennington, 88 years of age, died Saturday, October 31, 2015, at the Colleton Medical Center, in Walterboro. Mr. Pennington was born in Summerville, a son of the late Ross Pennington, and Ethel Mae Pennington. He was a member of the Branchville United Methodist Church, the Branchville Masonic Lodge #110 A.F.M.; he retired from the United Stated Merchant Marines, from the United States Air Force, and Civil Service.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday November 3, 2015, at 2:00 P.M., at the Branchville United Methodist Church with Rev. Wayne Mobley officiating; burial will be in Ott Cemetery, in Branchville.
Mr. Pennington is survived by his wife, Annie Mae Pennington, one step son, Jimmy Johnson, of Rock Hill, one step daughter, Ann Moyer, of Richburg, two step grandsons, and two step granddaughters. He is also survived by three sisters, Frances Goodwin (Jack), of Charlotte, Naomi Mullins of San Antonio, and Juanita Knox of Columbia, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Monday, from 6 to 8 P.M. at Ott Funeral Home in Branchville; at other times, friends may call at the residence. Memorials may be made to the Branchville United Methodist Church.
