Gabriel Scott Vallentine's Obituary
Gabriel Scott Vallentine went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on the evening of October 9th 2019. Gabriel was born on December 30th 2002 in Orangeburg County.
Gabe was a junior at Branchville High School. He aspired to become a welder. He loved working on his old Ford "fixer upper" truck. He also enjoyed working with his hands at Edwards Wood Works in Branchville. This gave him a sense of pride and independence and being able to achieve things he wanted through hard work. He was also an avid Clemson Tiger fan.
Gabe is survived by his parents of Branchville, Ernest and Jennifer Vallentine. His sisters Laura Ashley Walling (Sam) of Summerville SC, Amanda Lambert (Brandon) of Orangeburg SC, Christina McCullough (Brian) of Summerville SC, Savannah Brickle of Orangeburg, and Brianna Kemmerlin of Orangeburg. Brothers Patrick Vallentine (David) of Denmark, and Matthew McCullough (Kayla) of San Jose California. Paternal grandparents Ernest and Barbara Vallentine of Branchville, Maternal grandparents Thomas James Thompson of Petal Mississippi. Gabriel is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunt and uncles, and cousins. Gabriel is also predeceased by a sister Beverlee Nicole Vallentine.
Funeral services will be held at Branchville Baptist Church on Oct.12 at 2pm with Rev. Tim Shaw officiating. The family will receive Friends one hour before services. Donations can be made to Ott Funeral Home, P.O. Box 96 29432.
