George Marion Foxworth Jr.'s Obituary

Mr. George Marion Foxworth Jr., 60 years of age, died Saturday, December 10, 2011. Mr. Foxworth was born in Orangeburg Co., a son of the late George M. Foxworth Sr. and Hazel Reed Foxworth. He was retired from Jacobs Engineering Co.; he was co- owner of Joyce's Restaurant in Branchville; he loved fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, December 13, 2011, at 2:00 P.M., at Ott Funeral Home in Branchville.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce B. Foxworth of Rowesville, one son, Richard David Foxworth (Michelle) of St. Matthews, one sister, Jessica Moore, of Cameron, one brother, Ashley Foxworth (Cindy) of GA, four grandchildren, Tyler Foxworth, Sierra Zirk, Jay Zirk, and Morgan Benton. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Monday, from 6 to 8 P.M., at Ott Funeral Home; at other times, friends may call at the residence. Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association.
