As former neighbors and close friends, our hearts go out to Patsy, Karen and Christopher at the loss of Gil. He will be sorely missed, not only by his family, but his many friends and associates. Sorry we were unable to attend Gil's funeral service. But, please know our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of deep sadness. Try and reflect on the many wonderful memories Gil has left behind and God's Blessings will surely sustain you.

My parents, Bennie & Margie Connelly, thought so much of your family. I have so many fond memories of my parents taking me to see Mr. Frank, Mr. Claude and so many others play baseball in Branchville when I was just a little girl. Mr. Frank would always bring me cinnamon rolls from his bread truck, which I cherished as such a special treat. Please know that you are in our thoughts. I worked with Gil at Santee Sport Shop back in the late 80's. With my being the only female in a store full of guys, they all treated my like their baby sister. Gil was a great guy and though I had not see him in years, when we did see each other it was like no time had passed. I am so sorry for your loss and my prayers are with Chris and the rest of the family.
Terri, I can truly say that I understand. A short while ago, I was faced with the same situation. Just turn it all over to the Lord and it will be fine. Each day the hurt will lessen. You and the family will continually be in my prayers.
Gil will be missed by so many. He always had a smile on his face, and a kind word to share. He was a good friend to so many and we're all better people for having known him. Thoughts and prayers are with his family, especially Christopher. Rest in peace Gil and thanks for the memories.
Mrs. Patsy, I am so very sorry to hear about your son's passing. Although I did not know him personally, Karen always had nice things to say about him. You and your family are in my prayers. I know God to be a comforter and he will comfort you.
