Heber C Rentz's Obituary
Branchville
Heber C. Rentz, widower of Alma L. Rentz, 90 years of age, died Thursday, June 9, 2016. Mr. Rentz was born in Ehrhardt, a son of the late Clifton M. Rentz and Susan Rebecca Chassereau. Mr. Rentz was a US Army veteran of WWII, retired from the SCDOT, in Holly Hill, and was an avid fisherman.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, June 12, 2016, at 3:00 P.M. at the chapel of Ott Funeral Home in Branchville, with Rev. Wayne Manning officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before services. Burial will be in Ott Cemetery in Branchville.
He is survived by one step daughter, Rose Marie Norton (Vernon) of Branchville, four step grandchildren, Danny Norton, Melody Summers, Darlene Horne, and Dell Norton, nine step great grandchildren, ten step great great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Mr. Rentz is preceded in death by three brothers, and twin sisters.
In leiu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
