Isabelle Ott's Obituary
sabelle Scoville Ott, 75, of Rowesville SC, passed away at home, after a brief illness, on the morning of December 25, 2023. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was born on September 24, 1948 in Orangeburg, SC to Katharyn Lamoreux and George Owen Scoville.
Isabelle was close with her 3 sisters and looked forward to their "Sister Saturdays", during which they would have lunch and watch a movie together.
Isabelle enjoyed 44 years of marriage with the love of her life, Francis Mitchell Ott, Jr. They had three sons and spent lots of time together on various businesses such as building and running a radio station, a retail website, among other ventures and still found time to travel and have fun. She was a great cook and took great pleasure in preparing delicious meals for the ones she loved.
Isabelle is survived by three sons: Francis (Kara) Ott III of Branchville SC, Daniel (Lauren) Ott of Rowesville SC, and Paul (Taylor) Ott of Branchville SC; 9 grandchildren; siblings: Noble (Dona) Scoville of Tequesta FL, Mary Katharyn Oliver of Orangeburg SC, Willie Hayden of Cope SC, and Owen (James) Bridgeman of Neeses SC. Isabelle was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Isabelle's life was a testament to the enduring power of love and family. As we gather to celebrate her life and bid her farewell, let us remember the warmth of her smile, the kindness in her heart, and the love that she shared unconditionally.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the viewing on Friday, December 29, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ott Funeral Home, Branchville SC. The funeral service will be held at the Branchville Baptist Church on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 1:00 PM.
