Branchville
James W "Jimmy" McAlhany Jr., 47 years of age, died Wednesday September 14, 2011. Mr. McAlhany was born in Charleston; he was a graduate of Branchville High School, and a member of Branchville Christian Church.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday September 17, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Branchville Christian Church, with Rev. Wayne Manning officiating. Burial will follow in McAlhany cemetery in Branchville. The casket will be placed in the church at 10:00 A.M. Pallbearers will be Allen Metts, John Metts, Jerry McAlhany, Tony McAlhany, Mark Chavis, and Doug Dantzler.
Survived by his parents, James W. McAlhany Sr. and Edna Metts McAlhany of Branchville, one daughter, April Kemp of Charleston, one sister, Tammy Brunson and husband Chris of Branchville, two nephews, Jesse Bozard, and Brice Brunson, one niece, Tabitha Bozard. Also survived by one great nephew, Timothy Wayne Thompson II, and a number of Uncles, Aunts, and cousins.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Ott Funeral Home in Branchville, and at other times, friends may call at the residents of Mr. and Mrs. J.W. McAlhany.
