Dear Family and Friends,
I still think of conversations and the many times I spent with the Varns. You were all so kind to me. I don't think you ever truly knew how much I loved and still love each of you.
You all know the love I had and still have for Mrs. Varn. Also for her mother. So when I heard she had gone to Heaven I thought "she is with her Mama again." And of course our Lord and Saviour. Your grandmother had a great effect on my life and you must know your mother and all of you did. I still love you all and carry the love you showed me within my heart. May God comfort you and give you the strength you need. Your mother will be greatly missed but her love will be shared and passed down for generations to come.

Jane was an example of what a true Christian lady really was ! she knew her Bible well ..i learned a lot from her bible studies in orangeburg many years ago!
she was a sweet and lovely lady ! i know she prayed for me whenever i asked her !
she will be missed ! but she is now with the Savior she loved and told everyone about ! God give the family comfort and strength ! we WILL see her again ! God bless you DR. Varn...

How blessed we feel to have known Mrs. Jane. She was such an inspiration and walking example of our loving God. She never met a stranger, and never hesitated to tell anyone where her joy and hope came from, and always shared His love, goodness and graciousness. Her great laugh and smiling eyes would always make you feel at home. We look forward to being with her again one day.

Dr. Varn, Beth, Rose, Janie & Luke,
What words can possibly be use to describe such a willing, hard-working, bold and dynamic Christian Servant, with such values and humility, as your wife and mother. Her unforgettable teaching and testimoney continues to leave an everlasting effect upon us both as we go about our daily lives. We are so lucky to have crossed paths with her, as well as with your entire family, in our lives and will forever be blessed and grateful. Although we are sure the parting has to be hard, there has to be some kind of excitement going on in Heaven today.

I just wanted to express my sincere sympathy to the family in the loss of Mrs. Jane Ann.

She was such an amazing inspiration to me over the years. I'll never forget how every time her name was mentioned, my Dad would tell of her love for our dog, Bingo.

She was a wonderful neighbor when I was a child, and as I grew older, over the years, no matter when we ran into each other, she always offered word of wisdom. I don't know that even she was aware of how much some of the things she said to me over the years inspired and encouraged me.
