John Bunyan McCormick's Obituary

Mr. John B. McCormick, 71 years of age, died Saturday January 19, 2008 after an extended illness.
Mr. McCormick was born in Bamberg Co. a son of the late John B McCormick Sr., and Ruby Barrs McCormick. He was a retired US Air Force Veteran, served two tours in Vietnam. He was a member of the Buckhead Advent Christian Church, retired security guard with Wells Fargo, and was a member of the Etiwan Masonic Lodge #95 AFM in Mt. Pleasant.
Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday January 23, at 3:00 P.M. at the Ott Cemetery in Branchville with full military and Masonic rites.
Survived by one son, Johnnie Tarrant of FL, four daughters, Ehrline (Dale) Tenly of FL, Cindy York of TX, Jessie (Eddie) Montgomery of TX, and Dianna (Dan) Hugo of TX, two brothers, Nevile (Ginger) McCormick and Wayne (Vicki) McCormick both of Orangeburg. He is preceded in death by a brother, Edward McCormick and two close friends, Clarence Folk, and Fred Fogle.
Family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 9 P.M. at his home, 413 Reeves Branch Rd.
