Bamberg
Mr. Johnnie G (Moose) Moore, 73 years of age, died Wednesday July 1, 2015. Mr. Moore was born in Bamberg, a son of the late Johnnie J. Moore, and Eva Bessinger Moore. Mr. Moore graduated from Bamberg High School, served in the National Guard, and was a member of Edisto Baptist Church. He had a great passion for hunting, fishing, gardening and cooking. He loved to play with his dogs, Lulu, Bebe, and Sassy and spending time with his family.
A memorial service will be conducted Sunday July 5, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Ott Funeral Home in Branchville, with Rev. Donnie Delk Officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before services.
Survived by his wife Sharon W. Moore, two sons, Richard Moore (Michelle), and James Moore, four sisters, Sandra Bonham, Sarah Whatley, both of Bamberg, Florence Osborn, and Bonnie Allen, both of Orangeburg, two grandchildren, Jessica Moore, and Justin Moore, and a number of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by one brother, Robert Moore.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice care of South Carolina.
