Joshua Dewayne Gainey's Obituary
Rowesville
Joshua D. Gainey, 16 years of age, died Thursday October 2, 2008. Joshua was born in Orangeburg Co., he attended the Branchville Public Schools, played school sports, he was an avid hunter, and enjoyed go cart racing.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday October 5, 2008 at 3:00 P.M. at The Branchville High School Gymnasium. The casket will placed in the gym one hour before services. Burial will be in the Ott Cemetery in Branchville.
Survived by his parents, Ricky Gainey and Tina Gainey, one brother, Brian Gainey, one sister Connie Bailey (David), all of Rowesville, Maternal grandparents, J.W. and Loudelle Gleaton of Neeses, one niece, Leigha "LeLe" Bailey, a special friend, Raul Cruz of Rowesville, and a number of aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ray and Margaret Gainey. The Ott Funeral Home in Branchville is in charge of arrangements.
Family will receive friends Saturday from 5 to 8 P.M. at The Branchville High School Gymnasium.
