Karen was my (Sista) that's is what we called each other, because she was my sister through thick & thin & she had my back & I had hers. We spent vacations, New Years, Birthdays, & times on the beach with Izzi (Who i nicknamed Nellie from Little House on the Prairie because she could be such a Nellie Olsen LOL 😆) I will miss her dearly & will always have her in my heart & thoughts as well as my Sista Ceci who did everything for her sister & stuck by her side through this battle. You couldn't ask for a better sister. I love Y'all and know that Karen will see us one day again!❤❤❤❤❤❤
I met Karen at work. She was a kind and wonderful soul that helped everyone around her. She helped me when I first started working at NIWC in 2016 and she taught me a lot. I am sad that we never got to ride those horses at the beach like we planned. You will forever be missed.

Will always remember the beach days, cookouts and good times shared with Karen and Bella! Such a beautiful person inside and out. We know you are walking with God on the Golden Shores. Till we meet again, Trey, Lisa and Jordan

Karen and I became fast friends in a short time. Her kind comments and laughter are what I hear now. We will see each other again. Love, Mel
Karen and a group of us on Seabrook Island walked the beach everyday with the dogs. We shared our daily triumphs and trials. I always looked for Karen's golf cart and Bella's little bark. Thank you Karen for all the good times. Love always Patti, Vaughn and Murphy.

We are deeply sorry for your loss ~ Ott Funeral Home
Karen was so much like a sister to me she helped me in so many ways. She was always there when I needed her. She had a great sense of humor and she was a great lover of dogs and make it true that they were taken care of. I will miss my friend dearly
