Kenny Carter Sr. of Bamberg age 65, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle sadly left our world on Friday June 7, 2024.He touched many lives through his community work as "The Bug Man" for over 25 years. He retired from SRS after 30 years of dedicated work.He was the loving husband of 47 years to Susan Graham Carter. He was the proud father to Kenny (Jennifer) Carter of Branchville, Jaci (Kevin) Sandifer of Bamberg, five grandchildren, Kaiden, JT, Phoenix, Eden, and Jena; brother Wayne (Andrea) Carter of Bamberg, brother in law Charles (Tammy) Graham of Greenwood, sisters in law Dorothy (Randy) Wright of Greenwood, and Beth (Dennis) Sadelson of Weaverville, NC; and proud uncle and great uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.He is preceded in death by his parents Clemons W and Georgette Beck Carter, brother Rhett Carter, and sister Sandy Ward.Visitation will be on Monday, June 10th at 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Ott Funeral Home in Branchville, SC. Services will be Tuesday June 11th at 11:00 am at Ott Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at Little Swamp Church Cemetery.Memorials may be made to St. Jude Hospital.Expressions of sympathy may be viewed or submitted online at www.ottfh.com.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Ott Funeral Home, 7305 Freedom Road, Branchville, SC 29432.
