Obituary for Kenneth Pauley
Retired North Charleston Fire Department Captain Kenneth "Ken" Wayne Pauley, 49, died on April 12th at his home. Ken graduated from Edisto High School in 1987 then joined the Air Force. After serving his tour of duty, he went to work with the City of Orangeburg Public Safety Department, and Sheriff's Department. He then worked with North Charleston Fire Department where he served as Captain until he retired in 2015. He returned to Orangeburg where he worked in the Maintenance Department of The Methodist Oaks until 2018.
Survivors include his ex-wife, Stacy Baltzegar (1999); his son, Seth Austin Pauley; a brother, Andrew "Andy" Pauley; a half-sister, Nikki Pauley Bearden (Johnny); his father, Larry Pauley (Linda) of North Carolina; and his mother, Dorothy "Dottie" Pauley of The Oaks. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Kenneth "Mac" and Helen O'Dell.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 24th at the Branchville Christian Church located at 6907 Freedom Road.
