Laura Lee Myers' Obituary
Branchville
Mrs. Laura Lee Myers, 72 years of age, died Tuesday, November 22, 2016. Laura was born in Reevesville, a daughter of the late William Thomas Walters and Mattie Laura Maxey Walters. She was a loving wife to her husband, a loving mother to her children, and a loving grandmother to her grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and her dog, Dixie. She was a true Christian and fought her illness to the end, with God's grace.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at 3:00 P.M., at Branchville Christian Church. The family will receive friends one hour before services. Interment will be in Buckhead Advent Christian Church Cemetery, in Smoaks.
Laura is survived by one son, William J. Myers Jr. (Stephanie), three grandchildren, Joanna Muraira (Slade), Jesse, and Emma Myers. She preceded in death by her husband, William J. Myers Sr., one son, Jason Andrew Myers, and one brother. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Miss Shirley Berry and Sally Spires, who cared for her with love and compassion, until the very end.
