Lewis Clifton Bair's Obituary
Branchville
Mr. Lewis Clifton "L.C." Bair, 67 years of age, died Thursday August 21, 2008 at his residents. Mr. Bair was born in Winnsboro SC, a son of the late Daniel D. Bair Jr., and Leila W. Bair. He was Chief of The Cattle Creek Fire Dept., President of The Branchville Lyons Club, he was very active in The Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, serving as deacon, choir member, and assistant Sunday School Director, and he was a lifelong resident of the community.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday August 24, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at The Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, with The Rev. Bryan Grey Officiating. Burial will be in The Church Yard. The casket will be placed in the church at 2:00 P.M. The Deacons will be pallbearers.
Survived by his wife, Reba W. Bair of the home, four sons, Randy L. Bair "Debbie", of St. George, Richard W. Bair "Marie" of Orangeburg, Lewis C. "Bubba" Bair, "Betty" of Cordova, and Mark Bair of N. Myrtle Beach. One brother, Leonard Bair "Faye" of Eutawville, eight grand children, five great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by one brother, Charlie Bair.
Family will receive friends Saturday from 6 to 8 P.M. at The Ott Funeral Home in Branchville. Memorials may be made to The Mt. Tabor Baptist Church Cemetery Fund 116 Flatwoods Rd. Reevesville, SC 29471.
