Lounelle Steedly Hughes' Obituary
Branchville
Mrs. Lounelle S. Hughes, 79 years of age, of 7010 Freedom Road, died Sunday, August 31, 2008. Mrs. Hughes was born in Branchville, a daughter of the late Wilbur D. Steedly and Laura Lee Byrd Steedly. Mrs. Hughes was a member of The Eastern Star, a member of The Sardis Methodist Church, a floral designer for over 26 years, and she was a lifelong resident of the community.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday September 3, 2008 at 3:00 P.M. from the chapel of The Ott Funeral Home in Branchville with the Rev. Charles Bradley and Rev. Wayne Manning officiating. The burial will be in The Ott Cemetery in Branchville. The family will receive friends one hour before services.
Survived by her husband of 63 years, Lee A. "LT" Hughes of the home, one daughter, Elaine H. Dukes "L.M." of Branchville, Three grand children, Tammy D. Hunt "Terry" , Kerri D. Goust "Thierry", and Wanda D. Fitzgerald "Tim", twelve great grandchildren, a special niece, Debra S. Hudson. She is preceded in death by one granddaughter, Kimberly Platt, one brother, Wilber L. Steedly, and one sister, Almede S. Utsey.
