Mabris B Valentine's Obituary
Branchville
Mabris B. Valentine, 81 years of age, died Sunday October 21, 2018. Mabris was born in Bamberg, a daughter of the late Willie Jenkins and Emma Lee Brabham of Bamberg. She loved gardening, reading, cooking, and spending time outside.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at 12:00 P.M., at Ott Funeral Home in Branchville, with Pastor Cindy Williams officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before services; at other times friends may call at the residence of Cheryl and Jack Davis.
Mabris is survived by three children, Cheryl Davis (Jack), Johnny Valentine both of Branchville, and David Valentine (Sandy) of Moneta Virginia, three brothers, Frank Brabham (Hazel) of Walterboro, Harry Brabham of West Point Mississippi, and Carlisle Brabham (Betty) of Bamberg, three sisters, Doris Redmond (Rusty) of Barnwell, Betty Mijah (Justin) of Lexington, and Annette Belk (Ronnie) of Morris Chapel, Tenn. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Memorials can be made the Branchville Baptist Church, PO box 116, Branchville, SC, 29432, or St. Jude Children Hospital, Memphis Tenn. The family would like to send a special thanks to Orangeburg County EMS and the Orangeburg County Sherriff Department for their help during this time.
