Mrs. Margaret Myers Rutland, 59, passed away December 30, 2010, at her residence, in Batesburg-Leesville, SC., due to a lengthy illness. A memorial service will be held at Buckhead Advent Church, in Smoaks, SC, on January 16, 2011, at 3:00 P.M.
Mrs. Rutland was born in Orangeburg, SC, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry E. Myers. She is survived by her daughters, Leah Baker of Batesburg and Paige Barnes of Barnwell, and a granddaughter, Brook Benton of Batesburg. She is also survived by two brothers, Donald E. Myers and James W. Myers.
