Mrs. Mary Jo Embree, 80 years of age, entered into rest September 14, 2010. Mary Jo was the beloved wife of Charles S. Embree. She was born in Lawton, OK., December 22, 1929.
Her parents were the late Louie Toy, Canton, China and Kate Medlin, Atoka, OK. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Yvonne Halbison.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her 3 sons, James and wife Josie of Evans, GA., Kelley and Barbara of Hephzibah, GA., and Steven of Oklahoma City, OK. She is also survived by a niece, Judi Shannon, of Geronimo, OK., 1 grandson, 4 granddaughters, and 3 precious, great grandsons.
In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, she loved crafting, playing bridge, and traveling with her husband of 51 years.
Mary Jo (Jojo) touched many lives and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
Services will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2010 , 1:00 pm, at Ott Funeral Home in Branchville. The family will receive friends one hour before services. Online condolences can be sent to www.ottfh.com
