Mary C "Dolly" Metts' Obituary
Branchville
Mary C. "Dolly" Metts, 85 years of age, died Sunday, June 25, 2017. Dolly was born in Reevesville, a daughter of the late Claffy Collins and Julia W Collins and Marie W Collins. She was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church; she loved spending time with her family and going to church; she was the widow of the late Jimmie Metts.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at 1:00 PM, at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Ethridge and Rev. Corey Leggett officiating; the casket will be placed in the church one hour before services. The family will receive friends Tuesday, from 6 to 8 PM, at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. At other times, friends may call at the residence.
She is survived by one son, Timothy R Metts (Tammy) of Branchville, one Daughter Tracy M Cregg of Bremerton, WA, two grandchildren, Tyler R Metts and Carly Cregg, four brothers, LC Collins, David Collins, Harry Collins, and Phil Collins, one sister, Vianna Snelgrove, and a number of nieces and nephews. She proceeded in death by one brother, Fred Wallace Collins, and one sister, Vida Mae Dantzler.
