Mary Alice Winfield's Obituary
Mary Alice Winfield, 92, of Branchville, SC, went to be with her Lord on November 2, 2023.
Her funeral service will be at 3 pm on Saturday, November 4th at Branchville Baptist Church. The family will receive friends for a visitation at 2 pm also at the church.
Alice was born on December 4th, 1930 to the late Augustus and Cynthia Dunn of Cope, SC. She was the plant manager at Kirsch for many years before retiring. She was also a member of Branchville Baptist Church and especially loved her Sunday School class. She enjoyed cooking for her family, taking fishing trips with her husband at Lake Marion and the Edisto River, and spending time with her grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Alice is predeceased by her beloved husband of 60 years, Thomas Lafayette Winfield, and their son David Thomas Winfield. Surviving is her daughter April Walters (Jakie) of St. George, SC; grandchildren Cory Jarrett (Catalina) of Johns Island, SC; Adam Jarrett (Erin) of Mount Pleasant, SC; Rachel Chapiesky (Caleb) of Saint George, SC. Great-GrandChildren League and Hudson Jarrett, Charlotte Reese and Beau Chapiesky.
