Branchville
Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Funchess Wright, 83 years of age, died Thursday, September 24, 2015. Mrs. Wright was born in Rowesville, a daughter of the late John David Funchess and Merle Inabinet Funchess. She was a member of Branchville United Methodist Church, a retired school teacher from Branchville Public School System, and the widow of the late Thomas W. Wright Jr.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, September 28, 2015, at 11:00 A.M., at Ott Funeral Home in Branchville, with Rev. Wayne Mobley officiating. Burial will be in Ott Cemetery in Branchville. The family will receive friends one hour before services.
She is survived by one son, Tom Wright (Jan) of Branchville, one daughter, Nancy Wright of Charlotte NC, two granddaughters, Jordan and Ashley Wright of Branchville, one sister, Jeanette Mason of Hampton, and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Martha Gail Wright, and one sister, Dorothy Ott.
Memorials can be made to Branchville United Methodist Church general fund. Friends may call at the residence of Tom and Jan Wright.
