Michael Richard Jernigan's Obituary

Mr. Michael R. Jernigan, 54 years of age, died Tuesday May 8, 2007 at the MUSC in Charleston. Mr. Jernigan was born in Colleton Co., a son of the late Hubert R. Jernigan. He was a member of the Little Swamp United Methodist church, an avid hunter and fisherman, and was a life long resident of the Buckhead Community.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday May 11, 2007 at 3:00 P.M. at The Ott Funeral Home in Branchville. Burial will be in the Little Swamp United Methodist Church Cemetery in Smoaks. Pallbearers are Billy Shoemake, Shannon Shoemake, Shane Smith, C.E. Chavis, George Foxworth, and Timmy Lyons.
Survived by his mother, Fannie Jernigan of Smoaks, wife Rose Jernigan, two sons, Donnie Williams of Orangeburg, and John Williams of Cope, two daughter-in-laws, Ashley Williams of Orangeburg, and Jennifer Williams of Cope, one grandson, Nathan Wayne Williams of Cope, and a number of aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 P.M. at The Ott Funeral Home in Branchville, and friends may call at the residents.
