Mildred M Steedly's Obituary
Branchville
Mrs. Mildred M. Steedly, 85 years of age, died Saturday, October 26, 2013. Mrs. Steedly was born in Reevesville, a daughter of the late Alonzo Hutto and Rachel Corrine McAlhany Hutto; she was the widow of the late J.W. Steedly. Mrs. Steedly was a member of the Branchville Baptist Church, loved working with her flowers, and spending time with her family.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at 3:00 P.M., at Branchville Baptist Church, with Rev. Steve Mims officiating. Burial will be at Ott Cemetery in Branchville. The casket will be placed in the church one hour before services. Pallbearers will be church deacons.
She is survived by two daughters, Rachel (Clayton) Baker, and Gloria (Bobby) Williams, one son, Ricky (Sheron) Steedly, all of Branchville, seven grandchildren, Dana (Steve) Trafton, Rita B. Koon, Rhonda (Charles) Peeples, Donna Williams, Bradley Steedly, Heather (Derrick) Martin, and Jessica (Eddie) Hewitt, ten great grandchildren, Matt (Erin) Berlind, Kevin Sheehy, Zachary (Brittinee) Trafton, Ryan (Hailey) Garrick, Cody Peeples, Blake Peeples, Ashton Easterling, Danielle Easterling, Hunter Steedly, and Sierra Jennings. She is also survived by five great great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thanks to the 3rd floor at The Regional Medical Center, in Orangeburg, for their outstanding care.
The family will receive friends Monday, from 7 to 9 P.M., at Ott Funeral Home; at other times, friends may call at the residence. The family suggests that memorials be made to the American Heart Association, or the Branchville Baptist Church.
