Nellie L Huff's Obituary
Branchville
Mrs. Nellie Louise Antley Huff, 79 years of age, died Monday, June 24, 2013, at her residence. Mrs. Huff was born in Rowesville, a daughter of the late Cecil D. Antley and Kathleen Saine Antley. She was a lifelong member of Prospect Southern Methodist Church, near Branchville; she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and talking with friends. She loved working in her yard, with her flowers. Mrs. Huff was a great cook and her family loved coming to Granny's house for dinner. She was the widow of the late Billy S. "Graham" Huff Sr.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, June 27, 2013, at 11:00 A.M., at Prospect Southern Methodist Church near Branchville, with Rev. Bill Collett officiating. Burial will follow in the Thompson Cemetery. The casket will be placed in the church one hour before services.
She is survived by two sons, Billy S. Huff Jr. "Cynthia" and Wesley O. Huff, both of Branchville, one daughter, Angie H. Chinners "Perry" of Reevesville, one sister, Fran Colson "Tom" of Simpsonvillle, two grandsons, William D. Huff, and Joshua Chinners, three granddaughters, Sunny Smith "Richie", Sierra Lapiene "Kevin", and Keri Huff, one great grandson, Wesley Logan Knight, two great granddaughters, Kayden Lapiene, and Maci Blake Smith, and a number of nieces and nephews. She is also survived by three very close friends, Mattie Bell Collier, Sara West Miller, and Mavis Valentine. Mrs. Huff was preceded in death by three brothers, Cecil, Ernest, and Frankie Antley, and one sister, Eugenia Singleton.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 6 to 8 P.M., at Ott Funeral Home, in Branchville; at other times, friends may call at the residence. Memorials can be made to Prospect Southern Methodist Church.
