Ora Lee Collins' Obituary
Branchville
Mrs. Ora Lee Collins, 77 years of age, died Sunday May 6, 2007. Mrs. Collins was born in Orangeburg Co. a daughter of the late Preston Metts, and Zilpha W. Metts, she was a member of the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, the Senior Adult Sunday School Class, The Hattie Gardner Prayer Group, the widow of the late Oscar Collins, and a life long resident of the community.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday May 8, 2007 at 3:00 at The Mt. Tabor Baptist Church with the Rev. Brian Gray, Rev Bobby Ethridge and Rev. Darrell Fetzer Officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 at the Mt. Tabor Baptist Social Hall. Pallbearers will be the nephews.
Survived by four children, Norbert Collins and wife Trudy of Branchville, Cookie Fetzer and Husband Darrell of Greenville, Wesley Collins and Wife Elaine of Branchville, and Debra C. Shuler and Husband Robert G. of Elloree, two brothers Alton Metts of Branchville, F.M. Metts of Cayce, four grand children, three great grand children, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the residence of Wesley Collins 615 Ivanhoe Rd. Branchville. Memorials may be made to the Mt. Tabor Baptist Cemetery fund, and the McCarter Presbyterian Church in Greenville.
