Pauline "Polly" L. Gramling, 73 of 3211 Palmetto Blvd; Edisto Beach, SC passed on to glory on November 22 at MUSC Hospital; Charleston. She was born June 1, 1943 in Columbia, the daughter of Wade & Marjorie Lybrand. She graduated from Columbia High School. She was married to her beloved husband, Swinton "Bud" Gramling on May 1, 1976. He survives. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and two very special friends, Stephen and Sara Hatfield. Mrs. Gramling worked for many years at Pioneer Seed Company. She and her husband built their Dream on Edisto and founded Gramling Home Care and have operated it for over 20 years. Services will be held with a viewing at 10:30 am followed by services at 11:00 Saturday November 26, 2016, at New First Missionary Baptist Church at 1644 Hwy 174, Edisto Beach. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Edisto Animal Lovers of Edisto, Edisto Beach, SC 29438 or the Ministerial Association of Edisto. Polly was loved by so many friends and family and our hearts are filled with Thanksgiving for the giving spirit she showed to all who knew her.
