Phyllis Sharlene Linder, 58, of Smoaks, SC, died on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at the Medical University of South Carolina Hospital, Charleston, SC. Sharlene was born in Bamberg, SC to the late Joseph Daniel (JD) Linder and Melba Bessinger Linder. Sharlene attended Buckhead Advent Christian Church and loved her church family. She was a registered nurse for 40 plus years who cared for her patients with love and compassion. She was a daughter, sister, aunt, mom, ya ya and friend to many. Survivors include her son, Cade Daniel Linder of Smoaks, SC; sister, Melba Kay (Ricky) Barr of Smoaks; Nephew, Zachary Allen (Taylor) Barr of Columbia, SC; Niece, Brooke Danielle Barr of Smoaks, SC; and a great nephew Hudson Allen Barr of Columbia, SC. Graveside services will be held at eleven o'clock a.m. on Saturday March 30, 2024 at Hagan Cemetery in Smoaks, SC with the Reverend Dennis Hall and Rev. Dan Stroman. The family will receive friends and family starting one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be sent to Buckhead Advent Christian Church, 4571 Beulah Rd Smoaks SC 29481.
