My deepest condolences go out to Ralph's family; I remember when Ralph sold peanuts on the street of Branchville, SC, as a small boy, and I also remember that his sister, Annie Mae was best friends with my sister, Janet Newsome Capps, now both gone. may God continue to bless Ralph's family with grace, hope, kindness, and most of all, love..God Bless. I remember my Uncle Ralph bringing us burnt oranges from a roadside 18 wheeler wreck,they tasted like diesel fuel and that was fifty years ago when I lived with his mother on her farm in Branchville. He could back a trailer straight fast,would go to work on time but didn't much like work,loved a salted cucumber. He was Santa Claus one year when I was very young, loved his sister Annie Mae when she had marital problems,tried talking my father at a landfill. He was my Uncle Ralph broke the mold when he was made,one of a kind. Rest in peace Uncle Ralph,my wishes for his grieving family members. He is in a better place now I assure you.
