Randolph Whetstone, 84, of St Matthews, died Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at The Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg, SC.
Randolph was born April 27, 1932. He was the son of the late Lewis & Mozelle Whetstone. He was fondly known as "Mater Man".
He is predeceased by a son, Anthony Lee "Nicus" Whetstone, a sister, Jackie Summers, and a brother, Burnette Whetstone.
Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Orangeburg, SC with Rev. Scott Wagoner officiating.
Survivors include a sister, Bobbie Whetstone Bryant of Gainesville FL; 3 sons, Robert (Debbie) Cothran of Barnwell, Randy (Cherry) Whetstone of Orangeburg, & Clark (Sharon) Whetstone of Moncks Corner; 3 daughters, Gayle Wolfe (David), and Lynne (Winky) Grubbs, of Olar, & Gracie (Michael) Hiers of Barnwell; stepchildren, Shirley Tooley of Nesses, Jimmy Wilson of Wolfton, Barbara Yonce & Robert Wilson of North Augusta, and Joey Wilson of Wagener.
