Raymond Paul Benton, 46 years of age, died Tuesday August 27, 2019, surrounded by his family and friends. Paul was born in Savannah GA, a son of the late Raymond Benton. He was an avid hunter and Georgia Bull Dog fan; he enjoyed kayaking on the Edisto River, and spending time with family and friends.
A memorial service will be held Sunday September 8, 2019, at Bowman First Baptist Church in Bowman. The family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. and the service will be held at 5:00 P.M.
Paul is survived his wife Jeannine R. Benton, mother, Mary Benton, two daughters, Brooke Benton, and Harley Berry, two step children, Rebecca (Matt) Clamp, and Bryan (Haley) Shuler, one sister, Wendy (Jama) Rutland, one special brother, Jamie Hancock, 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a number of nieces and nephews. Ott Funeral Home in Branchville is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Ott Funeral Home P.O. Box 96 Branchville SC 29432.
