Robert Leonard Bair's Obituary

Mr. Robert Leonard Bair, 71 years of age, died Wednesday, November 5, 2014. Mr. Bair was born in Orangeburg Co., a son of the late Dan Bair and Leila B. Bair. Mr. Bair was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church; he was a sports enthusiast, especially when it came to his children and grandchildren playing. He was a plant manager for Bowcar Manufacturing in Bowman for 22 years; he was a retired electrician from Zeus Manufacturing; he was the kind of person who never met a stranger.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, November 7, 2014, at 3:00 P.M., at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, with Rev. Bobby Ethridge and Rev. Jeff Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mrs. Faye B. Bair, one son Robert L. "Bobby" Bair Jr. (Stacey), of Bowman, one daughter, Sheryle B. Young (Skip), of Santee, four grandchildren, Dustin Walters, Zach and Kelsi Bair, Drew Young, and one great granddaughter, Isabella Walters, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday, from 6 to 8 P.M., at Ott Funeral Home in Branchville; at other times, friends may call at the residence of Sheryle and Skip Young.
